Erin Luong is a Canadian Certified Counsellor who has has sixteen years of experience in working with adolescents in both special education and school counselling roles. She has worked with students ranging from grade one to graduate studies.

For the last six years, Erin has worked at Bishop Carroll, a self directed high school in Calgary, and she is currently the Head of Guidance. Erin works to actively support anxious youth through a variety of formats including: individualized and group counselling, the development of the Bishop Carroll orientation course Freedom to Succeed, and the implementation of a multi-media approach to sharing information with students including D2L and Bishop Carroll’s Counselling website. She thrives on trying out new approaches and techniques and loves trying to “tinker” with the latest idea she’s picked up from Twitter, LinkedIn or Pinterest. She also coaches girls rugby in her spare time.
When Erin is not at work she allows her children (7 and 4), her husband and her puppy to remind her of the beauty and wonder of the little things in life.
