  1. Love this! A koala rancher — I do believe that is a first, and one I am now considering… 🙂 How are you able to travel so much? That is amazing. We need to meet somewhere sunny and enjoy a kiwi [ or something you really like] together — with Susan, too! Thanks for sharing!

    • Yes Sheri a sunny picnic with you and Susan is something that I would totally enjoy. I don`t know if Koala rancher is a true profession but I was convinced I would be one when I was younger. Saw a few Koala`s at the Taipei zoo- a few weeks ago.
As for travel, part of it is that I have the greatest profession on earth… teaching. Education has provided me with so many opportunties. I`ve taken contracts in South Korea, Japan and Canada- working my way around the world. I took a highschool class called world history and at the end of the year we were able to visit the places we`d studied (why not go to Shakespeare`s house after reading his plays… and tour the Louvre after learning about art history). I`ve also been involved with music and toured both as a performer and a chaperone. Finally I have this amazing husband who likes to travel as much as I do. He always listens to my dreams, helps us come up with a creative way to save up and then researches to help us find the best deals.
